When you are ready and can control the move, then absolutely yes, you can crunch postpartum, and I love teaching members and clients my FitMumPowerCore CRUNCH move!

In the video Natalie is six months postpartum, and Lisa, 17 months, both have trained with me since 3-5 weeks postpartum. 

Not only is this FMPC Crunch an effective exercise, but it’s also an excellent indicator of Core and Functional strength. Lisa can even crunch correctly with her toddler on top of her lol.

 

 

 

When are you ready to crunch?

You need to ask yourself:-

 

If you answer yes to all of the above and are around 6+ months postpartum, then yes, you can add your favorite style Ab workouts back in.
