Should you train your CORE during Pregnancy? Is a FAQ from new fans and mums who I see at my workshops. 
Absolutely, of course, you should improve your core strength and function during pregnancy as it has many benefits.

A Functional and strong core will:-

  • Improve pregnancy posture
  • Decrease pregnancy discomforts pains and aches
  • Decrease a wide Diastasis
  • Enable you to push a baby out more effectively
  • Improve pelvic floor muscle function
  • Improve digestion
  • Improve recovery

It’s just that many have the wrong perception of CORE EXERCISES.

In fact, even some professionals who should know better suggest that they are keeping away from ‘Core exercises’ during pregnancy!

Your core muscles are active in every exercise or at least they should be if working optimally, so, during pregnancy, it’s just knowing which are the most effective and safe core exercises to do. 

I love to use resistance bands, lunges, cables, and balance exercises to effectively improve pregnancy core function and strength.
